  Our Policies

Ordering with Us

You may order products from little wonderland directly from the website, www.littlewonderland.com. little wonderland is an extremely safe and secure site where all of the latest safety and security measures are in place. For schools, day care centers, museums and commercial orders in general that need to order using a PO number, please fax all orders to (FAX)508-529-1313. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for all on line orders. Orders are charged immediately when placed, even if the item takes several weeks for shipping including Back Ordered Items. Returns and refunds, assuming they meet the return criteria, are refunded to the original credit card used to purchase. The criteria for returns is all the way at the bottom of this page under "Returns".

Product Safety

Several of our products are made overseas, including China, just like you’d find with most toy stores these days. We, along with most retailers do not and cannot test products ourselves, we can only hope and assume we are getting accurate information from our vendors. Our manufacturers and wholesalers do in fact assure us that every product is 100% safe and that they meet or exceed all safety guidelines both domestically and abroad. Unfortunately, if we only carried toys that were made in the US, we would literally not survive this competitive business as our selection of fine wooden toys would be very limited, as opposed to the near 1,000 products we now carry. If you have any questions regarding a particular product, please don’t hesitate to email us at service@littlewonderland.com.

Product Availability

We have included on our description pages whether a product is “in stock or “out of stock”. As we take pride in being extremely accurate, mistakes do occur. Occasionally a product will say “in stock” but may not actually be available. This does not happen often and we apologize for any inconvenience if it does. Product comes in regularly so “out of stock” items become “in stock” rather quickly.

Pricing

Pricing mistakes occur very infrequently but occasionally we will incorrectly price a particular item. We reserve the right to change product prices at anytime and we may limit customer’s quantities when a product is mistakenly priced.

Gift Wrapping

little wonderland gift wrapping is available for many of our products, but not all. Several bulky or over sized items cannot be gift wrapped. Each product that we do offer gift-wrap for will show the “gift wrap” availability icon on the description page. Occasional mistakes occur and a product that shows the “gift wrap” icon, in fact cannot be gift wrapped. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Sales Tax

In accordance with regulations of the State of MA, applicable sales tax is automatically calculated based on the full order merchandise value to all residents of MA. Orders being shipped to all other states are not charged sales tax.

Product Assembly

Some products are delivered fully assembled but most products need some assembly. Please write us to inquire about a specific product's assembly requirements.

Shipping Policies and Rates

We use primarily UPS and occasionally USPS for most deliveries within the continental US. We offer UPS ground, 3rd Business Day Air and 2nd Business Day Air. We will ship 1-day air on special requests only, please call for rates. Shipping rates are based on your total order value. We will ship to multiple addresses however each package is treated as a separate order and will probably incur slightly higher shipping charges. Very large or bulky items might incur slightly higher shipping costs as well. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days after an order is received. In many cases, they are shipped the same day depending on the time the order was entered. Products are shipped Monday through Friday unless a Saturday shipment request has been made by email or phone call. Saturday shipping will incur higher charges.

We sincerely apologize but we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico due to extremely high shipping charges.

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to APO/FPO and PO Boxes as UPS offers no service to these addresses. If they change their policy, we will gladly change ours.

On occasion, UPS will deliver a package after the "guaranteed" delivery date. As long as the delay is not weather related, UPS will often refund shipping charges. Refunds for such deliveries will then be granted to customers after a request is made, and after little wonderland receives its refund from UPS. Please know that little wonderland has no control over UPS delivery dates once a package leaves our premises. We will, however, gladly give a refund for any shipping charges after a refund is given to us by UPS. If an incorrect address is submitted by a customer, any and all additional shipping charges to little wonderland will be the responsibility of the customer. little wonderland will charge the customer's same credit card for those extra charges.

"Back Ordered" products are always shipped Ground.

Drop-ship: little wonderland drop-ships several products. In other words, these products are shipped directly from the manufacturer’s or wholesaler's location. Occasionally, an “in stock” item may in fact be “out of stock“, due to a slight lag in communication from the manufacturer. Shipping times may also be delayed slightly because of the manufacturer or distributor who ships the products. We sincerely apologize if you experience this and assure you that it does not happen often. When calculating delivery days for drop-ship orders, please call or write us for more accurate estimates, again, we do not ship these specific items from our location. Please call or write if you'd like to know if a specific product drop-ships. There are occasional shipping surcharges added to large or bulky products, these surcharges will already be factored in your shipping quote at check out. Any surcharge will be listed in the product’s description page. Several large or bulky drop ship products can only be shipped Ground, even though the expedited shipping choices are still present at checkout. We apologize for this inconvenience and will notify you of the change before shipping and refund your credit card the difference in price between the expedited and Ground expense. Wrong shipping addresses entered by customers might result in additional charges.

Broken Products

On occasion, products will arrive broken. It's the nature of the business, especially when shipping primarily wood. When this occurs, we will do our best to first fix or replace the broken product which includes sending parts to customers when that can fix the problem. If we cannot for whatever reason fix or replace it with a new one, we will fully refund your original credit card used to purchase the item/s. We will ask you at times to send the broken product back to the shipper at our expense.

Returns

We gladly accept returns of any unopened and unused products within (30) days of shipping, but please look to see what state your item shipped from first. Customers who order a product or products and then decide they do not want the package and simply refuse the package, will get charged the shipping fee that is incurred for sending the package back to the shipper. Products ship from several different vendors and locations and must be returned to where they shipped from. You should simply be using the return address on the UPS or FedEx label to find this information. For products shipped from MA, please use the return address listed below. For all other states, please return to the company and address they were sent from and we will process a refund upon receipt. Some returns will result in a re-stocking fee, for example, 15%, we will charge a customer only what the vendor charges little wonderland. Any shipping charges incurred by little wonderland having to ship back items to customers who mistakenly sent back products to us, will be charged the full shipping expense. Certain personalized hand-made products such as several kitchens, name puzzles and name stools cannot be canceled or returned as they are hand-made and personalized to order. Please write or call if you have any questions regarding the cancellation or return policy regarding these products.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase and would like to return an item, please follow these simple steps below:

  • Make sure that the item is unused and unopened. We cannot accept opened or used products for refunds.
  • Please fill out the product return form that was included with your purchase. (if you do not have the product return form, please include your invoice number, full name, address, phone number, email address and description of the item you’d like to return and a brief reason why)
  • We ask that you ship it by UPS to:

Credit will be given in the amount of the purchase price of your item/s only. Shipping and gift wrapping charges will not be refunded. Credits must be issued to the same credit card that was originally used to place the order. Credits will be processed within 1-2 business days of receiving a return, but please know that it could take up to three weeks to show on your card.
